Start with a Free Introductory Conversation
The first step is a free introductory conversation. This is a chance to meet, understand what brings you here, explore whether coaching is a good fit, and decide together what kind of support may be most useful.
You do not need to know exactly which service fits your situation before reaching out. Choose the option that feels closest, or contact us if you are unsure.
How Sessions Can Take Place
Coaching conversations can always take place online, and this is the simplest way to begin through the website. When booking online, the free introductory conversation is usually scheduled online so we can meet, understand what brings you here, and decide together whether coaching is a good fit.
If you are in Costa da Caparica, Lisbon, or the surrounding area and would like to explore an in-person introductory conversation or ongoing in-person sessions, you are warmly welcome to contact us before booking. This allows us to coordinate the setting, format, and practical details together, as the in-person side of Coastline Heron is still being developed.
A dedicated setting for face-to-face coaching in Costa da Caparica is currently in development. The aim is to offer in-person sessions in a suitable professional space, whether through a dedicated office or another appropriate setting, as this part of the work becomes available.
In the meantime, and when the weather and context allow, walk-and-talk conversations by the ocean are already available. This format can offer a spacious, grounded, and embodied way to reflect, especially for people who think, feel, and process more freely while moving. Walk-and-talk sessions are arranged in agreed public settings and are not home visits.
Languages
Coaching sessions are available in English, Hebrew, and Italian. My Italian is currently a little rusty after some time away from daily use, so Italian-speaking clients are warmly welcome, with the understanding that I may need a little patience while the language returns more fully to my tongue. Portuguese is developing, and I hope to offer coaching in Portuguese in the future, but sessions are not yet available fully in Portuguese.
Not Sure Which Option to Choose?
If you are unsure which introductory conversation fits your situation, you are welcome to contact us first. We can help you choose the most appropriate first step.
Understanding the Space
These conversations are designed as an ACT-informed coaching space. They may focus on emotional and psychological flexibility, values, relationships, decision-making, practice, pressure, creativity, communication, transitions, and meaningful movement through everyday life and change.
This is not psychotherapy, psychiatric care, crisis intervention, medical treatment, legal advice, immigration advice, academic supervision, technical sport coaching, music instruction, injury rehabilitation, physiotherapy, or emergency support. Coaching does not replace licensed, clinical, medical, legal, educational, or specialist support when those are needed.
Some people arrive here alongside therapy, psychiatric support, medical care, legal guidance, academic supervision, music lessons, sport coaching, or other forms of professional support. In those situations, coaching can sometimes serve as an additional reflective and practical space connected to everyday life, values, attention, motivation, communication, and intentional action.
If you are experiencing acute psychological distress, immediate risk, a medical emergency, a legal or immigration crisis, or a situation that requires clinical or specialist care, it is important to contact the appropriate licensed professional, emergency service, or local support service.
I currently focus mainly on adults. Work involving people under 18 requires parent or legal guardian involvement and is considered carefully depending on the context.
